TipApp app for iPhone and iPad

I started working as a waiter not long ago.
In a new routine in a busy environment, you need to always be aware of everything around you, and of course the tips.
Oh the Tips, a good reward after every day worked, but then I thought: how am I going to keep track of what my earnings are?
Create a spreadsheet? No. Write in a notebook? (Omg that would be back to the cave times).
An app, incredible (I thought) but looking in the App Store I found only apps for customers to calculate the percentage to be paid in tips and nothing for the waiter to manage their tips.

So I decided Im going to make an app!

I asked myself how to do something simple and powerful? Something that is useful and does more than a spreadsheet would do?
A few months later and after long hours of coding TipApp was born.
I am so happy to be able to share this creation with you and to say how much it is helping me to keep an eye on my earnings.


To start after downloading and creating your account, you only have to select the day on the screen: register day, enter the amount of coins and notes you have, total amount of Card Tips and service charge and press one button and magic happens.
From the second day the app will tell you the amount you received in tips and soon after you can see more details on your home screen and remember screen.
Thats cool, it isn’t?


But how to go further and better?


Youll find a subscription option within the app that turns TipApp into something even more powerful.
With the Pro version of the app you can save the discount applied on card and service charge to have the net values, you can save your hourly rate to know the gross amount you will receive from the hours worked. If spreadsheets are still in your routine , you can export the data from your database into .CSV and you can still do more and more.


In your main screen you will be able to check the gross value of your hours, in remember screen you can check everything by day, week, month and year making it easy to keep track of everything you have so far earned.
You will still have the option to add the TipApp weekly report widget and not need to open the app to know the change you have to work, how many hours and tips you have made so far within the current week.

TipApp is integrated with Siri Shortcuts, if you say: "Hey Siri TipApp time”, Siri will take you to the app and will also show you your last day and total tips when you search for something on your device.


You don’t have to worry about backing up or losing your data when switching devices because TipApp is in the cloud. All you need to do is log in and thats it.


I don’t think any spreadsheet or notebook does that for you, right?


And all these features are already present in the first version of the app. Help me by giving me your ideas on what more TipApp can do for you. TipApp is alive and being developed day by day.
